All of the changes did improve the game for the better but the most inspiring part of each game,
is the dedication to humor within each element of the game. Because of the English heritage,
the humor is described as the "Monty Python" of the gaming world. Players can make the game as
humorous or as serious as they want. A serious story moment can be made hilarious by the main
character wearing a full body chicken suit. While approaching villagers, the option for a large
bleach appears on the screen along with more proper choices appearing along side. A major side
quest within the third game involves hunting down rouge talking lawn gnomes across the game's world.
While normally exploring the world the player will hear a series of insults. At first the source of
the insults are not apparent but after a little bit of searching the lawn gnome is found, often
times hiding up among the tops of buildings. A small enemy within the game, called a Hobbe, while
not posing much of a challenge becomes interesting because of a design choice. Each Hobbe has the
habit of wearing human clothes, often not in the right way. Often times Hobbes can be seen wearing
pants, buckets, or pirate hats on their heads. Some wear jackets, others wear giant boots. Their
voices scream in fear as the player runs forward. With the inclusion of humor a boring enemy can
become entertaining.
